Ook kan er gekozen worden voor een manipulatie. Manipuleren, ook wel \u201ckraken\u201d in de volksmond genoemd, is een snelle en effici\u00ebnte manier voor het\u00a0opheffen van een gewrichtsbeperking. De manipulatie gaat vaak\u00a0gepaard met een hoorbare klik en geeft meestal\u00a0direct toename van bewegingsvrijheid\u00a0en afname van kenmerkende pijnklachten.
